Quotes: Quotes and estimates are free and without obligation on your part. All quotations are valid for acceptance for a period of 20 days from the quotation date.

Property / Copyright: All drawings, photographs, illustrations, specifications, performance data and dimensions proposed as part of a quotation is the property of John George Cabinetry until full payment has been received and must not be copied in any way without explicit permission. We reserve the right to publish any of our designs, drawings and photographs on our website and business social media (this will never include personal details).

Deposits: All work and commissions require a 60% deposit with 40% balance on manufacture completion. When a deposit is received, we accept that as an understanding and agreement to our terms and conditions. If there are any queries customers are invited to contact us for clarification first. We will not commence manufacture without deposit payment in full. All prices quoted exclude VAT which will be charged at the appropriate rate ruling at the date of invoice.

Payment: For orders over £50,000, we reserve the right to invoice for interim payment of a further 20% prior to manufacture completion and subject to conditions listed on the deposit invoice and/or quotation. All orders must be paid in full at the point of completion. On contracts extended beyond a 60-day manufacturing / completion period we reserve the right to submit interim monthly invoices to cover materials and labour purchased and used up to that date.

Final Payments: The balance is payable bank transfer on the day of completion or as previously agreed in writing. Only once we have received the balance of monies due in cleared funds will we be able to confirm delivery / installation. All goods remain the property of John George Fine Cabinetry until paid in full.

Cancelations: If extenuating circumstances present themselves and you must cancel, we will refund that portion of your deposit which has not been spent on materials or labour.

Defects/Repair: In the unlikely event that your product needs repair /adjustment because of workmanship (not including woods natural movement due to climatization, or slight changes in colouration) please contact us to resolve. This does not cover fair wear and tear, neglect, abuse or misuse of goods; loss or damage (including rusting and corrosion) due to unreasonable exposure to water, heat or weather; loss or damage due to fire, smoke, lightning, sunlight, infestation by animals or boring insects; or theft, circumstances beyond our control or accidental damage or loss caused by a third party.

Exclusion of Liability: In any event, the liability of John George Fine Cabinetry shall be limited to direct loss and shall not include indirect or consequential loss.

Force Majeure: We accept no responsibility for delay, loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control.
